T-Mobile referral code

Use the referral code 98Typ6k on this page to sign up for T-Mobile. You get a $100 prepaid Mastercard, and the person who referred you gets a $100 prepaid Mastercard. Port in a number to a new postpaid account.

It's worth using if you're switching to a T-Mobile postpaid phone plan from another postpaid carrier: you get a $100 Virtual Prepaid Mastercard for it. Accept the referral before you sign up, or it won't count.

T-Mobile is a US wireless carrier with postpaid and prepaid phone plans and home internet.

How to claim

1. Click the referral link on this page. It fills in code 98Typ6k. Complete the referral form.
2. Within 14 days, open a new T-Mobile postpaid account with at least one voice line and port in your number from another postpaid carrier. Use the same number you gave on the referral form.
3. Pay your first bill and keep service active and in good standing for 30 days
4. Claim your $100 Virtual Prepaid Mastercard from the text or the Refer-a-Friend dashboard

"You can refer anyone who hasn't had T-Mobile service within the previous 90 days, and your friend and family must accept your referral before activating with T-Mobile to qualify."

The terms also say:

• Only new accounts qualify. Adding a line to an existing T-Mobile account doesn't count.
• Prepaid accounts, home internet or mobile internet only accounts, government accounts and No Credit Check accounts are excluded
• Port-ins from prepaid carriers, Metro by T-Mobile, T-Mobile Prepaid, or other carriers that run on T-Mobile's network don't qualify
• Only one referral reward is allowed per account
• Referrals expire after 45 days if they aren't completed

How to get your own T-Mobile referral code

T-Mobile postpaid customers, including business accounts with 12 or fewer voice lines, can join at referral.t-mobile.com with their T-Mobile ID. You get a $100 Virtual Prepaid Mastercard for each new account you refer, up to $500 per calendar year.
