It's worth entering if you buy gas: the code adds an extra 15 cents per gallon to your next fill-up and a 10% bonus on your next restaurant or grocery purchase. Enter it before you claim your first offer, or it won't count.
Upside is a cash back app for gas, groceries and restaurants: you claim an offer in the app, pay with a linked card, and earn cash back.
How to claim
- Download Upside and create an account
- Before you claim any offer, enter code X6HAJQ the same way you'd enter a promo code
- Make a first purchase of $10 or more (before tax and tip) through an Upside offer
- Your bonus applies to your next gas purchase and your next restaurant or grocery purchase
The fine print
From Upside's help article on referrals:
"Before claiming any offers, the person you referred will need to enter your invite code the same way they apply a promo code. Their first purchase will then need to be $10 or more (before tax and tip)."
From the Upside program terms
"First-Purchase Bonus - Both you and the person you referred will get an extra 15 cents per gallon on your next gas purchase and a 10% bonus on your next restaurant or grocery purchase."
From the Upside program terms
How to get your own Upside referral code
Every Upside user has an invite code under Earn More on the home screen. When a friend uses it, you both get the first-purchase bonus, and you also get 10 cents every time that friend makes an Upside purchase over $5 (before tax and tip).
